Nana Wall Systems
With summer on its way, homeowners will be opening windows and doors to let the sunshine and fresh air in. But wouldn't it be great if you could open a whole wall? Nana Wall Systems are designed to let you do just that, so you can enhance your views, let in natural light and expand your space.
A Nana Wall looks like floor-to-ceiling glass windows, but when you're ready to let the outside in, the glass panels fold back to create a large wall opening up to 36 feet wide. The panels are connected together in a train, with a recommended maximum of six hinged panels to each side, or 12 panels total.
The weather-tight wall systems are precision-engineered with state-of-the-art hardware and ball-bearing running carriages. They have been tested for air infiltration, water penetration, structural performance and forced entry; some versions meet Dade County, Fla., hurricane-resistant requirements.
The folding-door systems are available in aluminum, wood or aluminum clad over wood frames in a wide variety of sizes, colors, finishes, panel widths and folding configurations, as well as with different locking options and handle finishes. Costs range between $500 and $1,000 per running foot, or $60 to $125 per square foot.
