Glass Windows Alexandria LA

Here's an innovation whose benefit is clear to see windows that not only keep out the cold but also heat your home in Alexandria. The IQ Glass heating system is a double-pane unit of glass with three components an outer pane with an invisible coating that reflects heat in the summer and blocks cold in the winter; krypton, a nontoxic insulating gas between the panes; and a thin coating of metal oxide on the inside pane. When an electrical current is run through the metal oxide, it creates a resistance that produces radiant heat.

Here's an innovation whose benefit is clear to see windows that not only keep out the cold but also heat your home.

According to a recent study, radiant heat allows you to keep the thermostat set at a considerably lower temperature than with a conventional heating system. As a result, the IQ window system uses up to 35 percent less energy than other heating systems. The windows can be controlled using any standard thermostat; all wiring is hidden.

Popular in Europe for a decade, IQ Glass is just becoming available in the United States. Designed for use either as a sole or supplemental heat source, it can be installed in new homes, retrofitted into existing homes and incorporated into custom windows, even stained glass. In addition to heating your home, IQ Glass

provides UV protection and soundproofing. It also completely eliminates condensation so youll have clear views while staying warm.
